Stefan had a doctor appointment this morning and Zoe wanted nothing to do with getting dressed for the outdoors. She ran into the living room, giggling and growling playfully as Stefan chased her. From behind the couch, through the dining room and kitchen, she ran into the bathroom. I went to fetch her and had to smile and feel my stress fade. As I saw her tiny toes peaking out from under the long shower curtain, I had to forget about being late. It was adorable...she stood there so still....and so silent - you could almost hear her smile! I couldn't believe how sweet it was to say "peak-a-boo" and see her reveal herself, cover her eyes back at me to keep playing the game! I didn't mind the added five minutes to our "get out the door routine" and we pulled up to the clinic in the nick of time anyways!
