Stefan's upset, he says his teacher is going to be so mad at him - he lost the envelope, or left it at school over the holidays, with his homework in it so he got none of it done. I feel for him as a parent, we were so busy with visiting, travelling, sleeping in and watching movies that we never thought of it honestly. As a teacher though I now know how those parents feel, trying to squeeze in homework while it's supposed to be vacation time. How perplexing. I reasurred Stefan that we would find it and work on it a little each night this week to get it done. I'm not worried, he's quite above grade level so I know he doesn't "need it" persay, but I am glad he feels his "student responsibility" but did it have to keep him up until 10pm?? Poor guy...
I said I'd start substitute teaching in the new year...guess I have to put my name on the list officially this week. I hate the idea though, I enjoy my mornings with Zoe so much. She already said her daycare's name "Jean" before "Mama" even...so I might wait until February
I'll try to have a good first day back...
